How to Play Valentine’s Friendly Fued Game

The goal of the game is for teams to guess the most common answers to survey questions related to Valentine’s Day (think the famous Family Fued game on television). Points are awarded based on the popularity of the answers.

Objective:

Teams: Divide players into two opposing teams. Host: Designate one person to be the host. The host will read the questions and keep track of scores. Materials: Host question cards (48 total) & Player view cards (48 total). Print host card and player view cards double-sided. Score sheets Team cards (optional) Timer (optional)

How to Set Up the Game:

Faceoff: Choose one player from each team to face off. The host reads a question from the card. The first player to buzz in (or raise their hand) must answers the question in 5 seconds. Note: Players are not allowed to confer with their teammates during the Face-Off. Each must answer If their answer is the highest on the card, their team must decide if they want to pass or play. If their answer is not the highest on the card, the other faceoff player can answer. If their answer is higher, they can choose to play or pass.

If They Play: The team continues to provide answers for the question, trying to guess all the responses without getting three strikes. If the playing team gets three strikes, the round ends for the. then, opposing team can collectively confer to decide on one answer. If their answer is on the card, they can steal the points earned in the round (see scoring).

If They Pass: The opposing team gets a chance to answer, attempting to guess the remaining answers.

Scoring: Keep track of points for each correct answer on a score sheet. The team can only collect those points if they get all the answers correctly. If they get 3 strikes before getting all the answers, the opposing team has a chance to steal the points that were earned by guessing the correct answer that is remaining on the card.

Continuing Rounds: Repeat the face-off process for each question. Choose new players from each team to face off for each question until 3 rounds are played or however many rounds you want to play. once the rounds are played, teams should move to the quick-play round.
