Ding dong, it’s that time of year again! It’s the holiday season, and if you’re anything like me, you’ll be scrambling around the kitchen whipping up holiday goodies. How to Make Festive Cranberry Mimosa Cocktail
Step 1. Pour the chilled cranberry juice into a champagne glass. Note: If you do not like cranberries, try substituting it with grapefruit juice or pomegranate juice for a new twist. Cocktail cranberry juice can be substituted, but the cranberry flavor may overtake the drink. Best to use 100% cranberry juice, which is a blend of other sweet fruits (see recipe card for explanation).
Step 2. Top off with the chilled champagne until about 3/4″ to 1″ from the rim of the glass.
Step 3. Optional – Top with some fresh cranberries and a rosemary sprig. Enjoy!
This festive cocktail is fit for the holiday season. It’s easy to prepare and makes a wonderful addition to your holiday menu whether you’re hosting family or friends.
Festive Cranberry Mimosa
This festive cranberry mimosa cocktail is the perfect holiday drink. It only takes a few minutes to make and has just two main ingredients!
Ingredients
- 4 Ounces Champagne, chilled
- 2 Ounces 100% Cranberry Juice (see notes), chilled
- Optional garnish - Fresh Cranberries and Fresh Rosemary Sprig, washed and dried
Instructions
- Pour the cranberry juice into a champagne glass. Note: If you do not like cranberries, try substituting it with grapefruit juice or pomegranate juice for a new twist.
- Top off with the champagne until about 3/4″ to 1″ from the rim of the glass.
- Optional – Top with some fresh cranberries and a rosemary sprig. Enjoy!
Notes
- Due to the carbonated nature of champagne, these are best served immediately. Do not make these ahead of time or use a shaker to prepare as this will flatten the champagne.
- Use your preferred champagne for the best outcome in flavor outcome.
- Cocktail cranberry juice can be substituted for 100% cranberry juice, but it tends to take over the drink. 100% cranberry juice (what is used in the recipe) tends to be blended with other sweet fruits, thus making it a bit sweeter with a mellow flavor. Cocktail cranberry juice is 100% cranberry juice with sugar and can be a bit stronger in flavor.
