How to Play Christmas 5 Seconds Game:
Step 1. Print out and cut out the game cards, which feature a variety of Christmas-themed prompts. Note: Optional to laminate the cards before gameplay.
Step 2. Choose a player to start the game (oldest or youngest person). That person will draw a card and read the Christmas category out loud. The player to their left, the ‘hot seat’ player, will have 5 seconds to name 3 things related to the Christmas theme. If the ‘hot seat’ player is successful, they collect the card and it’s the next player’s turn. If the ‘person ‘hot seat’ player can’t name 5 things within the time limit, the card returns to the bottom of the deck. The game continues until all the cards are played. For large groups, create teams of players. Each team will choose a player to draw the first card. The person to their left will be the ‘hot seat’ player and is the only one who can answer the question. The team keeps the card if the player is successful in answering. The card returns to the bottom of the deck if the ‘hot seat’ player is unsuccessful. Alternate between teams until all the cards have been played and collected.
Step 3. When all the cards are played, the person or team with the most cards collected wins!
Get ready to spread joy, laughter, and festive cheer with this entertaining and delightful game that’s bound to become a holiday tradition for years to come!
