How to Make Festive Cranberry Mimosa Cocktail

Add cranberry juice to an 8 ounce fluted glass for cranberry mimosa.

Step 1. Pour the chilled cranberry juice into a champagne glass. Note: If you do not like cranberries, try substituting it with grapefruit juice or pomegranate juice for a new twist. Cocktail cranberry juice can be substituted, but the cranberry flavor may overtake the drink. Best to use 100% cranberry juice, which is a blend of other sweet fruits (see recipe card for explanation).

Top cranberry juice with champagne.

Step 2. Top off with the chilled champagne until about 3/4″ to 1″ from the rim of the glass.

Add optional cranberries and rosemary sprig for garnish.

Step 3. Optional – Top with some fresh cranberries and a rosemary sprig. Enjoy!

Notes

    • Due to the carbonated nature of champagne, these are best served immediately. Do not make these ahead of time or use a shaker to prepare as this will flatten the champagne.
    • Use your preferred champagne for the best outcome in flavor outcome.
    • Cocktail cranberry juice can be substituted for 100% cranberry juice, but it tends to take over the drink. 100% cranberry juice (what is used in the recipe) tends to be blended with other sweet fruits, thus making it a bit sweeter with a mellow flavor. Cocktail cranberry juice is 100% cranberry juice with sugar and can be a bit stronger in flavor.
