Spring Animals Cut and Paste Activity
Supplies:
- Printer
- Paper or cardstock
- Pen or pencils
- Glue sticks, glue, or double-sided tape
- Scissors
- Coloring pens, crayons, or color pencils
- Construction paper or plain paper to glue cut-outs on
- Optional – embellishments like glitter, googly eyes, stickers, gems, etc…

Instructions
Step 1. Print out the Spring Animals Cut and Paste templates on plain white paper. There are 12 templates to choose from – 6 pre-colored and 6 black and white.
Step 2. Cut out the animal shapes. Note: There are different ways to use the printouts so let the kids use their imagination. Some of the templates are pre-colored and can be cut out and pasted onto the uncolored sheets for a match-the-shape play. Color the uncolored sheets and glue them onto a new sheet to create a new scene. Combine various sheets to create entirely new ‘Frankenstein’ animals or a new unique scene.
Step 3. Use a glue to stick or glue to place all the shapes in their respective places. Then get creative and embellish the cutout shapes with other craft supplies.
