Frozen Watermelon Lemon Tea Slushie Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • Seedless watermelon – Use cold watermelon for the base of the drink and to help keep the slushie cold longer. Room temperature watermelon can also be used.
  • Ice – crushed iced for the slushie texture.
  • Lemon tea – Use your favorite brand of lemon tea to add a subtle lemon tea flavor. I used Stash Meyer lemon tea.
  • Lemon slices for garnish, optional.
  • Honey for added sweetness, optional.
  • Watermelon Vodka for a spiked frozen watermelon lemon tea slushie, optional and only used for spiked versions. I used Good Day Watermelon Soju that can be found in Korean marts, Asian markets, Total Wine ($3.99 a bottle), or ordered online.

Supplies:

  • Sauce pot – To boil water to steep the lemon tea.

  • Measuring cup/spoon – For measuring ice, watermelon, and honey. Can also be used to steep tea.
