If you’ve been reading my blog, you’re familiar with my salad round-up series – Part 1- Awesome Chicken Dinner SaladPart 2 – More Awesome Chicken Dinner Salads, and Part 3 – 20 Amazing Steak Dinner Salads. Today, I’m helping to kick-off a Summer Salad Party where YOU can link-up and share your salad recipes.

We are excited to finally be getting into the Summer Salads Season! School is ending soon, Memorial Day is almost here, we are getting into the spirit of the summer fun season! Bloggers know how to party and we think this is the perfect reason and time to have a Summer Salads Party!

Our Summer Salads Linky Party is the perfect place for you to find some new salad ideas, and share yours too!

You are invited to the Summer Salads Party May 16-June 20th hosted by the Merry Monday crew

Since this link-up is all about salads, I’m sharing a super easy Tropical Dressing. It’s a sweet and tangy dressing is similar to a thousand island dressing.

Tropical Dressing

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup oil (canola or vegetable)
  • 1/4 cup Ketchup
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon red vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon A-1 Sauce
  • pepper to taste

Directions

Step 1
Whisk together mayonnaise and oil until smooth. Mix in all of the other ingredients until everything is incorporated.

Let’s party, pour yourself a tall glass of your favorite party beverage and stay as long as you like!

Link up as many as you like.

Be sure to visit around and find a new recipe for your family to enjoy.

Don’t forget to Pin, Tweet, Stumble or otherwise share the party and your favorite links!

Link all things salad; recipes for salads and dressings, sandwich salads, fruit or vegetable salads, cold or hot salads. At the risk of sounding a little like Bubba Gump we really mean all things salad, you get the idea. Link as many as you like but be sure to visit others and share those that you like.
