It’s no secret that I’m a notorious serial meal skipper. I’ve mentioned it several times on the blog, along with my ongoing search for great grab-n-go mini meals and snack alternatives. So when I heard about the new ProNourish™ Nutritional Drink that was made as a mini meal or ‘on-the-go’ snack option for people with digestive sensitivities, I was excited to give it a try.
Yes, you read that right. A nutritional drink that was made for people with sensitive tummies! And although I haven’t been ‘officially’ diagnosed with any digestive issues, I tend to avoid certain foods (I’m talking to you, milk!) that can irritate my stomach. Because who has time to babysit the porcelain throne when there’s so much to do?!
Where to buy ProNourish™
Since this is a fairly new product, head to the ProNourish™ Homepage to find it at a Kroger store near you. I was able to find both ProNourish™ Nutritional Drink flavors, French Vanilla and Strawberry Banana, in the nutritional drink aisle and saved $2.00 on a pack by downloading the ProNourish™ coupon ⇓⇓⇓

Which flavor of ProNourish™ Nutritional Drink will you try?
Hello Erlene
I’ve found a good way to incorporate healthy snacks for kids is to just leave them accessible. I fill bowls with cut fruit or veggies and leave them out on the table all afternoon. The kids will lift a piece of apple, or a carrot stick as they walk by. They’ll grab a bunch of grapes when they come grazing in the kitchen mid-afternoon. If they have something easily available, they don’t even have time to think about the other stuff they might rather have! Incorporating healthy snacks when traveling isn’t that much different than with any other time. When we take road trips that pass through the “normal” snack time, I always try to bring healthy snacks along. Things like all natural energy bars, baggies of fruit or ProNourish nutritional drink. Claims of hunger can actually be the first signs of dehydration. And even if the hunger is genuine, eating the snacks will create thirst.
Best wishes.
This sounds like a great grab-and-go option! Who doesn’t need some of those!?
