I’m back with another super easy tropical/beach themed ornament! Today, I’m sharing how to make DIY glitter beach sunglass ornaments.
If you have’t seen this year’s Luau Santa tree, go and check it out. It’s a colorful and bright tree that has a tropical island vibe. And since I didn’t have any ornaments to fill it, I made most of the decorations myself. This is the third out of four ornament tutorials I’ll be sharing for this year’s tree. I’ve already shared the tropical cocktail ornament and painted container pineapple ornament. The last ornament, Luau Santa Beach Ball Ornament, will be share tomorrow on the annual ornament exchange.

DIY Glitter Beach Sunglass Ornaments
How to make glitter beach sunglass ornaments
Materials
- Red sunglasses
- Red glitter
- Mod Podge
- Mini starfish
- Gallery Glass paint - Aqua
Tools
- Hot glue gun + glue sticks
- small paint brush
Instructions
Paint Mod Podge onto the front frame of the sunglass. 
Sprinkle glitter onto the wet Mod Podge. Let dry.
Apply a coat of Mod Podge over the glitter to seal. Let dry.
Draw waves onto the sunglass lenses with the Gallery Glass paint. Let dry.
Glue mini starfish onto the corners of the sunglass frame. 
Add a hook or loop to hang the sunglass on the tree.
Notes
- I used raffia to make loops to hang the sunglasses.
- Use sprakle Mod Podge to keep the red glitter shiny and add more glitter while sealing the piece.
