Warming Brandy & Peppermint Coffee Drink

Brrr! Baby, it’s cold outside! Okay, it’s not cold enough to snow in our Southern California city, but you have to remember that I grew up in Hawaii, so I’m a lightweight when it comes to cold weather. In fact, any temperature in the 70-degree zone is chilly. And since its been in the mid 30-degree zones lately, that’s freezing to me! Although, I don’t mind the unusually cold weather because it gives me an excuse to drink all sorts of seasonal flavored coffee drinks. Yum!KitchenAid Precission PressI’ll admit, most of the year I’m an ice coffee drinker with my coffee connoisseur husband being the daily hot coffee drinker. But there’s just something about hot coffee that makes it a ‘must have’ drink during the winter. Wrapping my cold fingers around a hot cup of coffee has a magical way of keeping me going and soothing my body during the cold winter season. One of my new favorite winter coffee drinks, a Warming Brandy & Peppermint Coffee Drink, was inspired by the Precision Press from KitchenAid, which is on my husband’s wish list.

6 ounces hot coffee

This drink is so easy to make and is the perfect sweet dessert drink. Of course, it all starts with a great cup of hot coffee. The kind of bold, full-bodied, robust coffee you can get with the KitchenAid Precision Press. I’m already drooling just thinking about it. Condensed milk to coffeeOnce you have a great cup of coffee, add some condensed milk. This will give the drink a sweet, smooth, and creamy flavor.

Add Brandy to hot coffee and condensed milk

Then, for the warming effect, add the Brandy. This step can be skipped to keep this alcohol free, but it’s so good with the Brandy!Warming Brandy & Peppermint Coffee #KACraftCoffee

Finally, finish off with whipped cream, crushed candy cane, and a candy cane stirrer. And now you’re ready to serve the perfect sweet dessert drink to guests or to enjoy curled up on the sofa under a cozy blanket.
