Brrr! Baby, it’s cold outside! Okay, it’s not cold enough to snow in our Southern California city, but you have to remember that I grew up in Hawaii, so I’m a lightweight when it comes to cold weather. In fact, any temperature in the 70-degree zone is chilly. And since its been in the mid 30-degree zones lately, that’s freezing to me! Although, I don’t mind the unusually cold weather because it gives me an excuse to drink all sorts of seasonal flavored coffee drinks. Yum!I’ll admit, most of the year I’m an ice coffee drinker with my coffee connoisseur husband being the daily hot coffee drinker. But there’s just something about hot coffee that makes it a ‘must have’ drink during the winter. Wrapping my cold fingers around a hot cup of coffee has a magical way of keeping me going and soothing my body during the cold winter season. One of my new favorite winter coffee drinks, a Warming Brandy & Peppermint Coffee Drink, was inspired by the Precision Press from KitchenAid, which is on my husband’s wish list.

For those that like more alcohol, add one more ounce of Brandy for a total of 2 ounces to 6 ounces of coffee. For a non-alcohol version - omit the Brandy and cut the condensed milk to 1 ounce.

This drink is so easy to make and is the perfect sweet dessert drink. Of course, it all starts with a great cup of hot coffee. The kind of bold, full-bodied, robust coffee you can get with the KitchenAid Precision Press. I’m already drooling just thinking about it. Once you have a great cup of coffee, add some condensed milk. This will give the drink a sweet, smooth, and creamy flavor.
Then, for the warming effect, add the Brandy. This step can be skipped to keep this alcohol free, but it’s so good with the Brandy!
Finally, finish off with whipped cream, crushed candy cane, and a candy cane stirrer. And now you’re ready to serve the perfect sweet dessert drink to guests or to enjoy curled up on the sofa under a cozy blanket.
While a cup of Warming Brandy & Peppermint Coffee is amazing, I know it can be even more amazing when made with the rich earthy coffee from a KitchenAid Precision Brewer. I can see why this is on my husband’s wish list and maybe even mine too! The French Press is engineered with an integrated timer and scale that makes it simple for the everyday person to brew a full flavored and full bodied French Press cup of coffee all within the carafe – no need to measure water or coffee grounds separately.

Would love to have the KitchenAid Coffee Brewer for our Guests! I do enjoy Brandy and in hot tea after shoveling snow, it does make for a festive time – I think I can incorporate your idea! Thank you – Happy Holidays! 🙂
The precision press sounds genius!! My husband and I love our hot coffee, too. We spent an insane amount on a fabulous coffee system. I’m not a huge fan of peppermint but my husband LOVES it. .. I also don’t think I have ever had alcohol in my coffee. YUM.
Well that looks amazing. I need to have one of these ready for me on Christmas morning! lol Thanks for sharing!
Those KitchenAid Coffee Brewers are gorgeous. I need to add one of those to my holiday wish list! Plus this recipe sounds amazing. I love anything peppermint so I know I would love this on a cold morning.
This looks delicious, and perfect for cold weather. I think I will have to stop stop and get some Brandy tomorrow and make this as a Christmas Eve treat. For Santa of course!
