In honor of springtime, I’ve created a new I Spy Game printable featuring cute gnomes for 2023!

If you’ve been a reader of my blog, you’ll know that I have a love for I Spy Games. This is the first free printable I Spy Game for 2023 and I hope you enjoy it!
Supplies Needed to Play
- Printer – A color printer to print out the Spring Gnome I Spy Game
- Heavyweight printer paper – I recommend 40lb. weight
- Download & print Spring I Spy Game Printable (links below)
- Pen or pencil – to check off the images found or to write the number of items found.
- Optional – game prizes
Free Spring I Spy Game Printables – Gnome Edition

To print, click on the image above or this link > FREE Spring Gnome I Spy Game – Hard Version. This version does not have the number of each item. Use the easy version as an answer sheet for the correct number of items.
How to Play
You may choose to play this Spring I Spy Game differently, but these are some game play suggestions.
- Hard Spring Gnome I Spy – give a time limit of between 2 – 3 minutes. The winner is the person who finishes first with all the correct number of found items.
- Easy Spring Gnome I Spy – give a time limit of 3 – 4 minutes. The winner is the person who finishes first with all the correct items numbered or circled.
- Relay Play – This is fun when there are a large amount of people. Group people into teams of no more than 12 since there are only 12 unique hidden images. Using the hard version, the first player will have to find all of the first image shown (wheelbarrow with flowers) and write the number. Then, pass it to the next player and that player will have to find all of the second image (green sunflower gnome) and write the number found. Keep passing the paper to the next player until all the images are found. The team that finishes first with the correct number of images found wins!
