Chocolate and Bacon Covered Pretzels
If you’ve linked up or visited the Merry Monday Link Party #14, you know that I’m on the hunt for recipes featuring bacon. Why? Because August 30th is the unofficial International Bacon Day and I’d like to do a roundup of recipes that are linked up to this month’s Merry Monday link parties. So to keep the bacon theme alive, I’m sharing a super quick and easy Chocolate and Bacon Covered Pretzels treat. All you need to create this treat are three ingredients – bacon, pretzel rods, and chocolate.
Ingredient Supplies:
- 1 bag chocolate candy melts
- 1 bag large pretzel sticks
- 1 package bacon cooked and chopped into bits
Honestly, this is so simple that I didn’t even take pictures of the process because I think it’s pretty self-explanatory. All you need to do is melt your chocolate in the microwave or in a double boiler. Dip or spread the melted chocolate onto the pretzel sticks, roll in bacon bits, and then place onto a rack. Place the rack into the freezer to set the chocolate. Once the chocolate is set, the pretzels are ready to eat!
