Muller-vanilla-bean-&-chocolate-yogurt-fruit-dip-with-caramel-drizzle Easy, quick, and tasty breakfast or snack fruit dip. Made with vanilla bean yogurt, cocoa powder, honey, and sugar-free caramel syrup.

I hate to admit this, but I tend to be a breakfast skipper. With four kids on two different school schedules, my focus is getting them out the door, which leads me to skip the most important meal of the day. I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve dropped the kids off at school and jumped right into my daily chores without eating until dinner!
Skipping breakfast is a dangerous thing for me because I’m starving by lunch time and stuffing my face with loads of junk food.

To avoid this problem, I’m making an effort to get my days off to a better start by eating a light and quick breakfast. So, once the kids are off to school, I take a “me moment” to eat breakfast while I check emails and plan out my day.

Since I like to keep things simple, one of my favorite things to eat is fruit and yogurt because it’s one of the easiest things to prepare. However, sometimes I have a craving for something a little more special. Thanks to the new Müller® Ice Cream Inspired Yogurts* found in the yogurt department at Walmart, I can whip up a special breakfast fruit dip in less than 5 minutes! This dip tastes like an indulgent chocolate dessert, but I can feel good about eating it to start my day. Trust me, it’s really easy and super yummy!

*As of 2015, you may not be able to find this yogurt any longer. Substitute with your favorite vanilla bean yogurt.

To make the dip ~ Empty one container of  Müller® vanilla bean yogurt in a bowl. Can you see all those wonderful specks of vanilla bean yumminess?  Add 2 tsp. of cocoa powder. Add 2 tsp. of honey. Are you breaking a sweat yet? Mix together until everything is well incorporated. Looks good, right? But hold on, we’re not done yet!

To make this an extra special dip, take sugar-free caramel and drizzle it over the top. Next, add some fruit and you have a fantastic breakfast or “better-for-you” alternative to eating ice cream or junk food during the day. This is definitely one time that I can feel good about having a “dessert” for breakfast.

In fact, not only do I love this Vanilla Bean & Chocolate Yogurt Fruit Dip, it’s been kid tested and approved!

What are your favorite ways to jazz up and enjoy yogurt?

    1. It’s super easy and I always have these ingredients on-hand. I don’t always add the caramel drizzle, but if I do, there are a lot of sugar-free ones that are a great addition. The kids love it and it’s a healthier snack than chips & cookies.

  3. I am sure my family would ENJOY this dip. We enjoy anything yogurt! In fact, we like to eat yogurt with fruit and granola toppings. And even make frozen yogurt from them. But bummer………our new son seems to be bothered by the foods I eat, especially milk and dairy based foods!!!!! But this yogurt seems like something I would like to try – and no, I have not seen this new kind at Walmart. Well, considering I have not been out shopping since the baby (just one time)….Hubby goes.
