Guess what I did this past week? I gave you a little hint on my Instagram feed, but in case you missed it, I took the NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® challenge! I even created my own Instant Iced Coffee Recipes – Caramel Macchiato & Dark Mocha! And since I love it so much, I’m also giving away 10 – 7oz. jars of NESCAFÉ® coffee (see end of post)!
For this challenge, I received the cutest challenge kit – EVER! The kit came with a cute glass cup, spoon, recipe cards, NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® stick pack, and a coupon for a 7oz. glass container of NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® instant coffee. I loved the whole kit and couldn’t wait to get started on my new coffee routine.
On my first day, I did a little research and learned that NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® uses responsibly sourced beans to create 6 varieties of roasts and flavors. The beans are carefully roasted, brewed, and flash-frozen to lock in coffee freshness. Wow, I was thoroughly impressed. But how did it taste?
After learning about NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice®, I decided to move on to the challenge. I started with the French Roast stick packs from my kit. These convenient stick packs are now updated with more coffee to accommodate an 8oz. cup vs. the old 6oz. cup – perfect for my large coffee mugs! I literally dumped the coffee stick pack into my cup, added water, and stirred. No fancy coffee machine required and no need to drive to the local coffee shop for rich, smooth, amazing flavored coffee! LOVE!

By the last day of the challenge, I was experimenting and crafting my own coffee drinks using the NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® House Blend container. The House Blend has a mild, smooth roast flavor that allowed me the freedom to adjust coffee flavors to everyone’s personal taste. For example, I like creamer with my coffee vs. coffee with my creamer (I’m talking to you, dear hubby). So when I make my instant iced coffee drinks (recipes below), I use more coffee scoops in my cup and less in the hubby’s cup.
Instant Iced Coffee Recipes – Caramel Macchiato & Dark Mocha
*10/6/2016 Update – I’ve tried several different brands of Caramel Macchiato creamer and they are not all the same. The one I found the best is the generic Albertson brand. If using other brands, you may need to increase the amount to 4T or add sugar/caramel.
Now that I’ve completed the NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® coffee challenge, I realize that I don’t need to wait in line at an expensive coffee shop for good coffee. I can make it myself at home and in an instant! And because I think you’ll enjoy instant coffee too, I’m giving away 10 NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® House Blend jars! Just visit the NESCAFÉ® site by October 6, 2016 and answer the question below to win one of the jars! I bet you’ll fall in love with the well-crafted instant coffee flavor and fresh taste of NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice®. Try it! I dare you!
Visit the NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® page and tell me something new you learned or what flavor(s) you want to try?
Hey this is a great list of recipes… chocolate one is my favorite 🙂
These look delicious! I gave up caffeine in February, but this might make me starting drinking coffee again!
There are decaf options too 🙂
Oh my! They look so delicious! I can’t wait to try these! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks. Instant definitely makes coffee making easier.
I’ve never been a fan of instant coffee, but with these recipes I’ll have to try Nescafe again. They look so yummy!
I was surprised that the coffee isn’t what I remember instant to be. Definitely improved.
I’ve been NESCAFE fan for years now but I didn’t know much about it. I learned that the most important part of their brew method is “the Bloom”. It’s the reason why their coffee has exceptional taste . I’d really love to try the NESCAFÉ Café de Olla and NESCAFÉ Taster’s Choice Vanilla Single Serve Packets. I’ve never tried them and they sound delicious
The single packets are awesome to take to work. BTW – you’re one of my winners!
I love Iced coffee! Thanks for sharing these recipes..

My limit is two, but it’s a BIG two…lol.
I’m in love with caramel macchiatos. I would love to be able to make them at home, but for some reason I completely fail at making coffees at home haha it’s horrible. I could never be a barista. Thank God there’s Starbucks.

Damn, I stumbled on your blog a bit too late! I wrote a blog on iced coffee recipes recently and would’ve featured yours for sure if I found it sooner. I might do another one in the future, found several good ones too.
Keep up the good work, my family loved the recipe 🙂
Mmh, yummy! I am a coffee lover so these are perfect for me!
I love iced coffees. Awesome recipes. I’m going to try them out – the rest of my week is gonna be cool with caffine energy 🙂
I know some coffee lovers who would LOVE to try this! I’ll be sharing this recipe with them.
Oh lord. You know me well! These look AMAZING.
It looks like Nescafe has improved their product. I will be trying this brand again and see if I like it, especially with those great sounding recipes!
They did and it’s definitely not instant coffee like I remember. I like strong coffee, so I love the French Roast and my hubby loves the House Blend.
I am a vanilla type of gal! So totally would pick vanilla!
I would love to try vanilla too. I haven’t been able to find it yet, but I’m on the hunt. BTW – You were picked as one of my winners!
I love iced coffees! I just started drinking a protein shake in the mornings and there is a recipe that you can put coffee in it and OMG it is so good! I will have to try these as well!
This looks so tasty! I would love to be able to make this!
I’m not a coffee or a milk drinker unfortunately. Good luck to the winner, it looks like a delight for coffee lovers!
Thank you so much for sharing these recipes! I love caramel so I ought to try that one first. I think Nescafe is an awesome brand and they really take care of the quality of the coffee that they offer their customers.
They are awesome and put a lot of thought in their coffee process.
These drinks look delicious! I have not tried instant coffee before, but I am thinking I should soon!
Coffee seems to be very yummy and tasty. I am fond of cooking and trying new recipes. I will sure try this one and share my more views it. Thanks for sharing.
All the flavors sound delicious! I love what you did with them, too! I’d want to make the caramel macchiato one!
This looks good, and I don’t even like coffee!
I wouldn’t mind trying the Carmel Macchiato one. They look good! Looks really easy to prepare and sounds so good.
I love iced coffees. Definitely going to try some of the recipes here cant thank you enough!!
I would love to try the caramel macchiato! These look soooo delicious and easy to make too.
To make a macchiato at home instead of spending twelve bazillion dollars to buy one at Starbucks sounds amazing ot me. 🙂 Happy to come across the recipe shares.
These recipes sound so good! That mocha looks amazing… Although I would just drink it for the whipped cream haha
I would love to try the house blend! These look delicious and easy to make too.
The House Blend is great for a nice mild flavor. You were chosen as one of my winners, so look out for my email.
The caramel in there sounds super enticing. What a delicious way to get into fall!
Hi Erlene, I bet it was fun to participate in this challenge! Wondering if they will have a decaf version for those who have to keep caffeine to a minimum? Thanks for sharing! Blessings, Janet
The House Blend comes in decaf.
These look delish and love the on the go ones. I would def take that hazelnut one.
The on-the-go ones are great, especially now that they accommodate bigger cups. BTW – you were chosen as a winner, so be on the look out for my email.
A lot of people are doing this challenge and have been loving the results. Nescafe is an awesome brand, although they specialize on instant coffee that doesn’t mean they sacrifice the quality and goodness of their products. Thanks for the recipes!
You had me at coffee. I admit I didn’t realize how much time they have spent perfecting their coffee. Makes me want to try the vanilla to see how it taste.
I’m trying to find the vanilla to try it too. Thanks for commenting. You’re chosen as one of my winners. Be on the look out for my message.
OMG thank you. You are so talking my language here with coffee.
Now I know some people who would absolutely adore to try this – what a great iced coffee recipe! x
I’m not a big coffee drinker, but your Caramel Macchiato looks so delicious and I’d really like to try it. My mother-in-law is a big instant coffee fan, have to share these recipes with her.
Instant coffee have come such a long way and taste great. I hope she likes the recipes.
The coffee-lover in me just loves these 2 iced-coffee recipes. I recently developed this appreciation for iced coffee drinks and your recipes are definitely something I’d try. Like what you said, there’s no need for fancy coffee machines – this is very encouraging, right? 🙂
I was so tempted to buy a fancy coffee machine, but realized we save money and time without it.
These java drinks look delicious! I know I’d love either of these, but I’m a coffee junkie. lol The french vanilla and hazelnut flavors would be my first picks to try!
I love making instant coffee drinks at home. You have been chosen as one of my winners for a free jar of coffee. Be on the look out for my message.
I totally love coffee. So cool to be able to have it at home. Thanks for sharing 🙂
literally if it’s iced coffee, hahaha I couldn’t resist. 🙂
