Have you heard of AmiGami? It’s a new toy line from Mattel that lets YOU create a one-of-a-kind animal! It’s the perfect toy for any little girl who loves to craft and be creative.
When I told my 11-year-old daughter that we would have the opportunity to play with this toy, she couldn’t wait to receive it in the mail. Can you tell how excited she was when we finally received it? I think her big smile says it all. We fell in love as soon as we opened our box. We were sent an AmiGami Cat (purple) and the bird (green) for our creative play. These toys are so incredibly adorable that you’ll want to collect them all!

My daughter decided to start with the AmiGami bird. This kit came with 1 plastic bird base, 30 AmiGami paper parts, 70 reusable stickers, 1 curling tool, and 6 pins & caps.
As you can see, my daughter had a blast creating her AmiGami bird. The assembly was really easy because everything you need is included in the kit, which makes it a great indoor activity to do with the kids.
Also, the great thing about the AmiGami kits is that are more than enough stickers and paper parts to decorate the base animal several times over. So, if you get tired of your animal’s look, you can easily change it up.
If you want to a more detailed view of what is including an AmiGami kit, watch the video above.

This looks like such a cute, creative toy! I would’ve loved this when I was a kid.
I love it and I’m all grown up…lol. It really is fun and the animals are so cute.

What a clever little play on two wonderful crafts – Amigurumi and Origami. These look like fun.
I guess it sort of is a combination and it’s definitely fun!

These are so cute, and it looks like your daughter had a great time with it! Thanks for sharing at the #HomeMattersParty – we hope to see you again next week 🙂
She had so much fun making these. I think the best part is that she can custom design each one.

These look like they would be so much fun to make. A great mom and me project! I am certainly going to get these for my daughter.
It really is such a fun toy. We plan on collecting the rest of the animals and displaying them in her room. Plus, I like that you can change the look whenever you like.
