Summertime is once again upon us and time to plan for summer gatherings. This easy make-ahead adult spiked dessert is sure to be a party hit! Below you’ll find the ingredient list and step-by-step directions on how to make Beach Party Gummy Bear Jello Shots.

Gummy Bear Jello Shots Ingredients

This Jello Shot recipe makes approximately 9-11 Gummy Bear shots depending on how much alcohol and the size of the shot cups used.

  • 3/4 Cup Blue Raspberry Vodka – To spike the jello shots. For a less potent jello shot, reduce the vodka to 1/2 cup.
  • 1 Cup Boiling Water – Ingredient to make the jello shot base.
  • 4-5 Ice Cubes – This will help to speed up the jello setting (can substitute with 1/2 cup of ice cold water).
  • 3.9 oz. Sonic Ocean Water Jello or Starburst Blue Raspberry – Used for the jello shots and will mimic the color of ocean water.
  • Peach Rings – To be used for the Gummy Bear ring floats.
  • Crushed Graham Crackers – This is optional and is used to mimic beach sand.
  • Gummy Bears – For placement in the center of the Peach Rings to look like they are floating in the ocean.
  • Condiment Cups – Need at least 10 – 2 ounce cups to hold the jello shots.

How to Make Gummy Bear Jello Shots for Summer

Step one in making Gummy Bear Beach Party Jello Shots.

Step 1. Bring 1 cup of water to a boil. Once boiling, turn the heat off and pour in the jello packet. Stir until the jello crystals are fully dissolved. Then, add in 3/4 cup Blue Raspberry vodka or a 1/2 cup for a less potent jello shot, and ice cubes (or sub with 1/2 cup ice cold water). Stir until ice cubes are completely melted.

Add Gummy bear beach party mixture into cups.

Step 2. Pour the jello mixture into the condiment cups, stopping about the height of a peach ring from the top edge of the cups. Refrigerate until the jello has set.

Add crushed graham crackers to top of Gummy Bear Beach Party Jello Shots.

Step 3. This step is optional – Place 1 to 2 graham crackers into a resealable bag and crush them using rolling pin or bottom of a bowl. Next, place the graham cracker crumbs onto each jello cup to create sand. If you don’t want to use graham crackers, another option would be to cut green fruit strips to look like seaweed floating on the water.

Step 4. To create floating bears, place a peach ring onto each cup and place a gummer bear inside each peach ring.
