We’ve reached the last installment of my 4 part salad series and it’s all about Amazing Seafood Dinner Salads! I don’t know about you, but seafood is one of my favorite things to eat and I have no problem eating the Department of Agriculture’s recommended 8oz. of seafood a week. If you’re a seafood lover too, Part 4 – Amazing Seafood Dinner Salads round-up is dedicated to you…you’re welcome 🙂
Amazing Seafood Dinner Salads
Shrimp Salads
If I could only eat seafood to eat for the rest of my life, it would be shrimp. Shrimp is my all time favorite when it comes to seafood. Shrimp is a wonderful source of protein, containing 18 grams per a 3 oz. serving and no carbohydrates. It’s also a good source of vitamins (D and B12) and has heart-healthy omega-3 fats.
Fish Salads
One of my favorite things to eat at a sushi restaurant is a sashimi salad. Eating raw fish kind of reminds me of home (Hawaii) when my dad would bring home his catch of the day and make poke. I remember eagerly waiting in the kitchen until he was done preparing the raw fish with ogo (seaweed)…so good! You just can’t beat fresh fish. Here are a few salads that use both raw* and cooked fish.

Seared Ahi Tuna Poke Salad with Hula Ginger vinaigrette + Wonton Crisps.
Lobster/Crab Salads
Eating lobster and crab used to be reserved for special occasions because of the high cost. Fortunately, you can use smaller amounts of lobster and crab if you add them into dinner salads. You still get the rich flavors of lobster and crab, but save money by using less of this expensive delicacy. Wouldn’t you love to serve your family lobster or crab for dinner?
