How to Make Strawberry Margarity Pie
Graham Cracker Crust Ingredients
- 1 ½ C graham cracker crumbs
- ¼ C sugar
- 6 tbsp unsalted sweet cream butter, melted
- Baking spray
Strawberry Margarita Pie Filling Ingredients
- 4 C fresh strawberries, diced
- 2 tbsp fresh lime zest
- ¼ C fresh lime juice
- 1 – 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tbsp tequila
- 3 tbsp orange juice
- 3 C cool whip, thawed
Whipped Topping and Garnish
- 1 ½ C heavy whipping cream
- ¾ C powdered sugar
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- Garnish

- Lime zest

Graham Crust
Step 1. Preheat ove to 350°F. Combine all the crust ingredients in a bowl and stir to combine.
Step 2. Spray a pie pan with baking spray. Then press half of the graham crust mixture into the pie pan. Next, press the remaining half of the crust mixture onto the sides of the pie dish.
Step 3. Bake the crust in the over for 10 minutes and let it cool completely before adding the pie filling.
Strawberry Margarity Pie Filling
Step 1. Add diced strawberries, lime zest, lime juice, condensed milk, tequila, and orange juice into a blender. Blend until completely smooth.
Step 2. Pour the mixture into a large bowl and fold in the cool whip, 1 cup at a time until fully combined and smooth.
Step 3. Pour the strawberry margarita pie filling into the baked graham crust. Spead the filling evenly into the pie crust and level with a spatula. Cover and place in the freezer for at least 4 hours or overnight to set.
Whipped Topping and Garnish
Step 1. Using a large bowl, place the bowl into the freezer for 10 minutes OR place a bowl inside a bowl with ice (see pics).
Step 2. Add in the 1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla to the cold bowl.
Step 3. Using a hand mixer, beat the ingredients together until stiff peaks form. About 10 minutes. Scoop the whipped cream into the piping bag and pipe dollops around the edge of the pie.
Step 4. Optional – Garnish with lime wedges, sliced strawberries and lime zest right before serving. If not garnishing, let the pie rest at room temperature for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve immediately.
Tip
Not eating the entire pie in one sitting? It’s best to garnish each slice of pie with fresh fruit and lime right before serving as the fruit will freeze rock solid when frozen, making it difficult to eat.
How to Store Strawberry Margarita Pie
If making this ahead, cover and store the pie in the freezer for up to 4 days without the strawberry and lime garnish. And then garnish when ready to serve. For longer storage, wrap the ungarnished pie tightly in plastic wrap and then in foil. This can be kept for up to 3 months.
