Welcome to the third annual Christmas Tree Decor Blog Hop! It’s the second day of the hop and I’m sharing a mini beachmas tree!
In case you haven’t seen this year’s main tree, you can check out the Luau Santa Christmas Tree with a tropical vibe. The main tree is bright and definitely a non-traditional Christmas tree.
Since my kids prefer more traditional colors, my youngest daughter decorated this mini beachmas tree (her tree name) in more traditional Christmas colors. She stuck with a tropical theme, but mixed in large poinsettias and red and green ornaments to give it a traditional feel.
To keep with this year’s tropical theme, you’ll see faux palm leaves and monstera leaves woven throughout our beachmas tree.
In addition, there are sand snowman ornaments, sea glass & seashell ornaments, and a few other miscellaneous ornaments that have a tropical feel on the tree. But the key element of this mini beachmas tree are the large red poinsettias. Poinsettias are often used on island Christmas trees, so it still gives off a tropical vibe while satisfying my kids’ need for traditional colors. It’s a win-win and it made my kids so happy to have a tree with the traditional colors they love. Even my youngest teen son said it was pretty and that’s good enough for me.

What a fun Christmas tree and it’s wonderful that you daughter loves to decorate with you. The coastal ornaments and the faux palm leaves and monstera look great with the reds on the tree.
Erlene, I love that your daughter named the tree and decorated it in this fun beachy theme. The snowman with glasses was too cute! Thank you so much for participating in the Christmas Tree Decor Blog Hop! Happy Holidays!
I really like the color and theme of your tree, super fun. It has been fun being on the blog hop with you.
You always have the cutest most whimsical trees ever in the history of Christmas trees! I love them. So unique. I bet your friends just love you for your liveliness too. 😉 Glad I got to see it.
Love the Beach theme! I would love to be brave and get another tree to do something like that on.
