Individual chicken noodle soup recipe with an Oriental flair.

  • 1/2 - 1 cup Thai rice noodles, cooked
  • carrots, julienned
  • 1 - 2 mushrooms, sliced
  • 2-3 baby bok choy, chopped
  • 1 - 2 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 - 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 - 1 teaspoon sriracha
  • 1 cube chicken boullion
  • 1 cube Dorot Gardens crushed garlic
  • 1 cube Dorot Gardens crushed ginger
  • 1 3/4 cup hot water

  • onions, finely sliced
  • 1 cube Dorot Gardens cilantro
  • scoop sliced cooked chicken

  • Make sure to use a microwavable glass bowl with cover that is big enough to hold the soup contents and 2 cups of liquid.
  • Use store bought roasted chicken for convenience or use your own cooked chicken.
  • Cook noodles before adding to the bowls. This cuts down on microwave time and ensures soft soup noodles.
  • Add more soy sauce if adding more soup add-ins.
  • Use add-ins that don't require a lot of cooking time or can be eaten raw.
  • Put a plate or napkin under the bowl in case of boil over.

Step 1
Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside. Prep all the vegetables.
Step 2
Place noodles in a glass microwavable bowl large enough to hold the soup contents and 2 cups of water. Top the noodles with all the vegetables, chicken (optional), soy sauce, sesame oil, sriracha, bouillon cube, and Dorot Gardens cubes. Seal and place in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Step 3
When ready to eat, add 1 3/4 cup of hot water and microwave for 2 minutes. Stir the contents of the bowl and microwave for another 2-3 minutes until the bouillon cube is dissolved and the vegetables are cooked. ***Careful the bowl will be hot*** Place cover on the bowl and let sit for a few minutes to cool down before eating. Add more soy sauce or sriracha to taste.
