It’s time for another Merry Monday Link Party, but this time I’m doing something a little different. Instead of doing my typical party round-up, I want to share the Power of Pinterest and how you can harness more blog traffic with Group Boards!
One of the main reasons most of us share on link parties is to get our posts more exposure, right? To share in one place, be seen on multiple blogs, and benefit from the social shares you receive from fellow bloggers. For example, the Merry Monday Link Party hosts will often share your posts on Twitter, Facebook, and to our Merry Monday Pinterest Board. It’s our way of saying ‘thank you’ for taking the time to share with us each week. But most of all, we believe in helping each other grow! And Pinterest is by far, THE biggest traffic driver for most bloggers to their sites. Soooo….I thought it would be nice to share a few group boards that can help you take full advantage of the power of Pinterest!

The Power of Pinterest – Group Boards to Join
Here are a few group boards that are currently accepting contributors. But before we get to the list, I have to say just one more thing. I know we’re all busy and we love using apps like Viraltag, Tailwind, and BoardBooster to help us automate our pins, but Pinterest doesn’t work if we only use apps to drop links. We HAVE to RECIPROCATE and REPIN from the boards you join. This means periodically visiting the boards we join and repinning a few pins we like. A good general rule is to pin one pin for every pin your drop. In other words, it should be a 1:1 ratio – one pin on the group board and one pin repinned out to your personal boards.
Please read the board descriptions. Follow the board(s) and join the board(s) you are interested in. Then all you need to do is make sure you are courteous, follow the rules, and be a team player!
