I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes, but all opinions are my own.
Last week, I received the Comfort VoxBox from Influenster that was filled with various products for me to test and review. Here are the products/coupons that came in the box –
FISHER NUT EXACTLY® Snack Bites
FISHER NUT EXACTLY® Snack Bites combines whole grain popcorn, peanuts, almonds, and creamy milk chocolate into little snack bites that are only 15 calories per bite. According to the package, there are no artificial preservatives, colors, high fructose syrup, or trans fats.
My thoughts –
When I popped the first snack bite into my mouth, it had a strange flavor. Not sure if it was from the packaging or the mix of ingredients in that particular bite. It wasn’t terrible, but not a snack I would think of buying on a regular basis. I also let my kids try it and while they ate the snacks and it was a unanimous thumbs down. My youngest daughter thought it had no flavor and tasted like stale popcorn. I think that the balance of chocolate to dry popcorn is slightly off, which probably contributes to the odd flavor. Overall, it was an “ok” snack and the flavor did get better the more I ate it. However, this probably won’t be a snack that will be put into our regular rotation of “healthier” snacks.

My thoughts –
Yum! You’ll never believe that you’re taking fiber! These little fiber bites taste like fruity flavored gummy candy. According to the directions, adults start with two fiber gummies and can take up to 6 gummies per day. I only need to take 2 gummies and it seems to work fine for me. Any more than two seems to give me stomach discomfort and I feel bloated. The bottle does come with a pushdown safety cap, but I found it pretty easy to open the cap with little push effort. I would recommend this be kept hidden from children as it tastes and looks like candy.
Annie’s Homegrown Certified Organic Soups
New Annie’s Homegrown Organic Soups are here! New soups are available in 5 delicious flavors, all packed with 100% Annie’s goodness. Made with no artificial colors, preservative, flavors, or high fructose corn syrup. Each 1 cup serving contains 1/2 cup of vegetables.
My thoughts –
First, I have to say that I’m not a tomato soup eater. Tomato soup isn’t something that I grew up eating…ever. However, I have seen it served with grilled cheese sandwiches so that’s how I ate it. While the taste of the soup was nice, I would probably use the soup as a base for a vegetable soup or add it into a recipe (Spanish rice) for flavor.
The ingredients: tomato puree, water, cane sugar, corn starch, sea salt, extra virgin olive oil, onion powder, and garlic powder. Made on shared equipment that also processes egg, milk, soy and wheat.
Ragu® Old World Style Traditional
Ragu Old World Style Traditional has stood the test of time providing quality ingredients, classic texture, and Italian flavors. The recipe brings out the flavors of thick tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil, and Romano cheese to create the thickest, richest traditional sauce yet.
My thoughts –
The Comfort Voxbox came with two Ragu recipe cards and a $2.00 off coupon. I used the coupon to purchase the Ragu Super Chunky Mushroom sauce as I prefer the mushroom flavor over the traditional sauce. I like Ragu sauces and use them on a regular basis for our pasta sauces, pizza sauces, and in other dishes as needed.
NEW at Target! Tide Ultra Stain Release FREE liquid detergent
New! Tide Ultra Stain Release FREE helps remove 99% of everyday stains, and it’s free of dyes and perfumes. Available at Target.
My thoughts –
I already use Tide detergent, so it’s no surprise that I liked the new Tide Ultra Stain release. I like that it is made for sensitive skin and is free of dyes, perfumes, chlorine, and phosphates. It had a pleasant smell and cleaned all the kids’ everyday and soccer clothes with no problems. That being said, tough stains still need to be pre-treated before washing to ensure removal of the stain.
