Blogging Tips
Make Money Blogging
Here you’ll find companies and sites that can help you monetize your blog. Some of these places will require you to have a certain amount or page views and traffic before qualifying to be in their program. Please know, these sites won’t make you rich overnight, but if you’re ready to take the steps to monetize your blog, here are some places to start.
- Linqia requires a minimum of 1,000 followers on Facebook OR Twitter and have active engagement. Majority of your readership should be from the U.S. Blog should be primarily about Parenting and Home and Garden.
- Pollinate requires a minimum of 20,000 page views a month
Hosting Link Parties & Holding Contests
The majority of link parties uses Inlinkz. There are three options to sign-up – Free account and two paid accounts. I prefer to use the paid account since it allows thumbnails of the links to show and only costs $19.99 for an entire year.
For contests, I like Rafflecopter. It’s easy to use and has a free version or paid options. I use the $13 a month plan and it gives me the to option to incorporate Pinterest entries, add image slideshows, do a custom design and receive priority support. This is a great tool for those just starting out with giveaways since you are not locked into any contract. You can pay for just the month your plan on doing your giveaway.
Gleam is another giveaway application that is used by bloggers. It’s a little more complicated than Rafflecopter, but does allow for a few more options and is a bit more streamlined for entrants.
always great to learn some more tips to improve my blogging! 😀
