Spring Fling VoxBox Review
The box I received was a pretty mint green color and was filled with 5 items.
1. Softlips Cube: $3.49
Think outside the stick with Softlips Cube. Revolutionary 5 in 1 lip care combines an advanced formula with an innovative new cube-shaped package. Lips look radiant and feel softer, smoother and more hydrated. It is available in three new flavors: Pomegranate Blueberry, Fresh Mint and Vanilla Bean.
Review – I was given the Pomegranate Blueberry Softlips to try and the smell alone makes you want to put it on your lips. In fact, my two daughters love the smell so much that they both want one. The cute square cube is compact and easily fits into the side pocket in my purse. Plus, after using this lip balm for several days, I can honestly say that it really does soothe chapped lips when applied.
2. Playtex Sport Fresh Balance: $3.99 – $4.99
Introducing the new Playtex Sport Fresh Balance with odor shield technology. It’s designed to neutralize odors for ultimate freshness on and off the field. Combine with a 360 degree design for sport level protection, you can go the distance.
Review – I was given the regular absorbency to try. I don’t normally use tampons with any fragrance and thought that the fragrance was quite pleasant. That being said, the tampon was very absorbent and to me would be appropriate for lighter flow days.
3. Rimmel London Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara: $5.99
The 60s are back in full swing with a thicker, fuller, wide-eyed look! Rimmel London Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara brings you a bold, wide-eyed look, fanned out volume, and no clumps for lashes that are up, out, and over the top! Ready to go retro?
Review – I’m on the fence with this mascara. There are so many great mascaras on the market that any new mascara really needs to be magnificent. While the mascara did thicken my lashes, it didn’t really lengthen it. On the plus side, it didn’t clump or flake. I actually prefer the Rimmel London Volume Flash in the green bottle over this one because it gives me length, volume, and thickness.
4. Peach Pie Car Freshener from the Labor Day Movie
Review – The Peach Pie Car Freshener was given as a promotional item to promote the Labor Day Movie. I haven’t seen this movie yet and can’t really give it a review. The peach pie car freshener was a clever way to promote the movie and the scent was pleasant.
5. Kiss Everlasting French Nails: $6.49
The ultimate French manicure that never chips – guaranteed. Rich, white smile lines looks like you just left the salon; file to any shape with no tip wear. Offered in Real Short, an everyday length with our patented tabs for an easier application that eliminates messy glue on fingers–and Medium length, a great fit for longer nail beds. Available in Flat and Regular nail arches with Flex-Fit Technology to ensure ultra-comfort and a perfect fit!Available in Flat and Regular nail arches with Flex-Fit Technology to ensure ultra-comfort and a perfect fit! Available at Walgreens, Walmart, CVS, Kmart, Rite-Aid, & Target.
Review – I received the real short French manicure set to test and review. The nail kit came with a very small nail file, a wooden cuticle stick, 28 press-on nails in 14 sizes, and nail glue. Now, I haven’t used press-on nails since I was a teen and was impressed with the improvements in press-on technology. The nails a thin enough to look like real nails, but sturdy enough to withstand normal everyday activities.
6. NIVEA Skin Firming Hydration Lotion: $2.49 for 2.5oz./$10.99 for 13.5oz.
Get your skin ready for warm weather with NIVEA Skin Firming Hydration Lotion. In as little as 2 weeks, you’ll see firmer, more toned skin!
Review – I received the small 2.5 oz. bottle and love it. The smaller size and hard bottle make it the perfect container to throw into your purse without worrying about the contents will getting squeezed out. The lotion itself has a light scent, goes on smooth, softens the skin, hydrates, and is not greasy. I haven’t been using this for two weeks, so I didn’t notice a firmer or more toned skin. However, I would recommend this lotion on the hydration it provides the skin.

Overall, I was really happy and pleased with the majority of items in my first Influenster VoxBox. I will continue to use the Softlips cube, NIVEA Skin Firming Hydration lotion, and will purchase the Kiss Everlasting French Nails when needed. Which item do you think you’ll try?
