Have you noticed how plain the house looks once all the holiday decorations are put away? I do. Somehow, when all the glitter, lights, and decorations as gone, the house just looks bare. Luckily, there’s a way to liven up the house again – a New Year Home Refresh with Plants!
I already shared a post on How to Decorate with Indoor Plants for the holidays. And I have partnered with Commercial Silk, a leading designer, manufacturer and wholesale supplier of artificial trees and plants to share how artificial plants are a wonderful way to refresh your home.
Commercial Silk has a large selection of greenery, flowers, arrangements, palm trees, and planters handcrafted from quality materials and made exclusively for Hotels, Casinos, Office, Restaurants, and Commercial projects. The picture above is from their website and shows their artificial plants in an indoor commercial setting – so realistic!
They also create custom Artificial Boxwood Hedges that are perfect for disguising unsightly views, electrical boxes, and for creating privacy areas. And if you are in a desert or drought area, artificial plants are the way to go.
While I’m not decorating the outside of my home, I did want to change up the feel of my entryway. If you look at the picture above, I had black twigs in a pot that my kids called ‘arm stabbers’. They hated the twigs because they would get stabbed in the arm when walking by. So they were ecstatic when they saw the twigs being replaced with an artificial Dracaena Tree from Commercial Silk‘s retail company, Silk Plants Direct.
Honestly, I couldn’t be happier with the Dracaena Tree. The tree filled the space perfectly, was just the right height, looked real, and definitely helped refresh the look of the entryway.
I was also sent some Direct Fireplace Birchwood Logs and they are amazing! But I won’t be using these in the fireplace. I’m thinking of a few DIY projects in the future, so keep a look out for those.
