Chocolate and Bacon Covered Pretzels
If you’ve linked up or visited the Merry Monday Link Party #14, you know that I’m on the hunt for recipes featuring bacon. Why? Because August 30th is the unofficial International Bacon Day and I’d like to do a roundup of recipes that are linked up to this month’s Merry Monday link parties. So to keep the bacon theme alive, I’m sharing a super quick and easy Chocolate and Bacon Covered Pretzels treat. All you need to create this treat are three ingredients – bacon, pretzel rods, and chocolate.
- 1 bag chocolate candy melts
- 1 bag large pretzel sticks
- 1 package bacon cooked and chopped into bits
Honestly, this is so simple that I didn’t even take pictures of the process because I think it’s pretty self-explanatory. All you need to do is melt your chocolate in the microwave or in a double boiler. Dip or spread the melted chocolate onto the pretzel sticks, roll in bacon bits, and then place onto a rack. Place the rack into the freezer to set the chocolate. Once the chocolate is set, the pretzels are ready to eat!
Okay, so are you ready to share your bacon recipes and possibly have it featured in a bacon roundup? All you need to do is link up your recipe to any of the Merry Monday Link Parties – August 10th – 14th, August 17th – 21st, and August 24th – 28th. I look forward to seeing your recipes on the Merry Monday Link Parties!
